Structured Workplace Learning
Structured Workplace Learning puts young people in school into real work in a real workplace (and sometimes in a simulated workplace).
These work placements are full of bonuses. For example:
- Students find out what it’s like in the real working world.
- Students increase their technical and employability skills.
- Students may gain an actual qualification (depends on the placement) that is recognised by industry and education systems throughout Australia.
Ask your Local Community Partnership about organising Structured Workplace Learning opportunities at your school.
