The Australian Blueprint for Career Development has the potential to change the way Australians think about career education, information and guidance programs.

The blueprint has two main focuses:

The blueprint provides a framework within which existing initiatives can be mapped and future initiatives coordinated. It also offers the flexibility that is required in the Australian setting because while career competencies and performance indicators are precisely defined, standards are determined locally.

The Australian Blueprint for Career Development draft prototype is currently being trialled and tested by Miles Morgan in different jurisdictions and settings.
