Help for youth

Our providers work with schools and businesses to deliver a range of programs and activities that help young people to learn more about the kinds of jobs available and the skills they need to prepare for their future.
- Adopt a School—allows businesses to ‘adopt’ schools so students are able to complete a project that gives them real-life work skills.
- Structured Workplace Learning—puts young people into actual work placements for a period of time. Sometimes results in recognised qualifications.
- Career and Transition Support—delivers quality career information to schools, young people and their parents.
- Youth Pathways—helps young people who are struggling to stay in school or who have not attended for up to three months.
- Connections—helps young people who have dropped out of school for more than three months and who face major barriers to returning.
- Career Education Lighthouse Schools—champion good practices in quality career education and trial new and innovative ways of implementing career education in schools.
There are also many professional development
opportunities for teachers and career advisers.
