Adopt a School Program   

The Adopt a School Program is all about giving you a hands-on learning experience in a specific industry sector.

Local Community Partnerships use industry links and local knowledge of their Regional Industry Career Advisers to encourage businesses to adopt a local school.

The program works by connecting young people in schools to the businesses and industries in their local area. By working together, these groups find out more about each other and about how they can help each other in the future.

Businesses gain more experience in working with today’s young people and students get to find out about possible career pathways and the kind of skills their future employers are looking for.

The Adopt a School Program also gives your parents, carers and teachers the opportunity to get involved in activities so they have a better understanding of current career pathways and can assist you in making career decisions.
